Christianity has Come and Witchcraft has been Wiped Out

Many other Healers coming out today are using the bible in their work because God created this world and put everything in the bible and if God chooses you to come and help his people, you are his prophet and you will work with God and the people. 

Christianity has come and witchcraft has been wiped out. Alphonse, Healer, Traditional Doctor In Bambui, Cameroon, I interviewed 18 Healers about their origins, practices, and evolution of their medicine. This work sheds light on the peculiar practices of traditional doctors in this rural community.

The World Health Organization estimates that 80% of the populations of Africa use traditional medicine to meet their primary health care needs. For many people in these countries, particularly those living in rural areas, this is the only available, accessible, and affordable source of health care. The Healers are changing their old dressings for pure white tunics as opposed the previous fierce appearance, the crucifix is taking place of the old methods and the words. “In the past people used to offer human sacrifices(not long time ago) but since the world is civilized those sacrifices are not being done again. Today we use animals like dogs, goats, cats as sacrifices. Today we pray and ask the people to pray.”
